Important announcement: leadership change within Supervisory Board

We would like to share some important news regarding a change in leadership within the Supervisory Board.

Andre Eitner Resigns as Supervisory Board Chair
Due to growing work commitments, Andre Eitner has made the difficult decision to resign from his position as the Supervisory Board Chair of the Cool Farm Alliance. We are grateful for Andre’s dedication and contributions during his tenure, in particular overseeing the transition of the Alliance to its new governance structure.

Co-opted appointment of Tobias Bandel as Acting-Chair
In line with our Supervisory Board governance document, the Board has taken the necessary steps to ensure the organisation continues to run smoothly. We are pleased to announce that Tobias Bandel will serve as Acting-Chair until our 2024 Annual General Meeting/Conference, where members will have the opportunity to vote for a new chair.
Tobias has a long history of supporting the Cool Farm Alliance and utilising the Cool Farm Tool in his work with Soil and More and, most recently, with LandBanking Group. His wealth of experience makes him well-suited to bridge the gap until the next board elections.
